Commonly, this applies to men, women and even babies, but on this occasion, the protagonist was a dog named Bernardo, who stole everyone’s gaze in a costume contest.
The inspiration for her wardrobe was that of the famous cartoon The Simpsons, that became part of popular culture for its shades of black comedy and eccentric characters. The outfit that the owner of the puppy chose is one that surely everyone recognizes, and if not, what have you been doing with your life?
We refer to the chapter in which Homer Simpson gets fat and is allowed to work from home (doing home office before it was popular). Due to his weight, Homer decides to wear a blue dress with pink flowers and a white beret. That was precisely how they dressed Bernardo, who, without a doubt, behaved better than anyone.
Due to a TikTok video, posted by @mariel.way, we were able to be part of the creation of the tenderloin costume, which was hand-painted by its owner to participate in the costume contest organized by her school. The clip is “narrated” by Bernardo, who “tells” us about the process of making the dress.
My mom was my engineer, manager, community manager, seamstress, painter and photographer, she did everything to make me look my best and she did.
In addition, it shows us a bit of the catwalk, where we finally see the look finished. Bernardo even wears the blue cape that Homer wears in the seventh season episode. In the end, all the effort paid off, as our furry friend took first place for his creative costume, earning recognition and the hearts of all viewers.
