Goiânia receives the third largest floating Christmas tree in Brazil; see others

On Wednesday (7), the city government of Goiânia lit a floating Christmas tree in Vaca Brava Park and featured a band and fireworks show. According to the city hall, this is the third largest floating tree in Brazil.

The tree is supported by a raft placed in the center of the lake in the park and reaches a height of 21 meters.

Sao Paulo

Located in Ibirapuera Park, the traditional Christmas tree in the city of São Paulo was inaugurated on Saturday (3) and is 55 meters high and has special lighting. It will be turned on daily at 7 pm and will run until December 26th. The tree is expected to be visited by more than 1.5 million people.

Curitiba

With a height of 22 meters, the Christmas tree in Parque Barigu, in the capital of Curitiba, has already become a symbol of the city’s Christmas program and since 2017 it has adorned Christmas in Curitiba – Luz dos Pinhais. The attraction opened on November 28.

The 37th edition of Natal Luz started at the end of November in Gramado and hopes to bring together millions of tourists by the end of January. Every day, the city lights come on at 8 pm and the end of the year atmosphere emerges in the main points of Gramado, impressing all visitors. They start to be lit punctually in front of the Palace of Festivals and spread through the streets.

Maceió’s Christmas tree was inaugurated on Wednesday (7) and had a special program with concerts and choirs at the opening. At 37 meters, the structure is the largest exposed in the capital of Alagoas.
