A Gol plane collided with another Azul, on the night of this Friday (29), when taxiing in the courtyard of Viracopos Airport, in Campinas.
The Gol aircraft arrived in the interior of São Paulo from Rio de Janeiro.
The airline’s adviser informed the CNN that, during the taxi procedure, the wing tip of the aircraft accidentally hit the tail tip of a Azul plane.
“GOL passengers disembarked safely and the aircraft was made available for engineering and maintenance for evaluation and repair,” Gol said.
Blue already told the CNN by way of note that the aft part of the fuselage was damaged.
“Azul points out that there were no injuries and that the company’s aircraft was empty and stopped overnight. The plane has been made available to the maintenance team for necessary repairs.
THE CNN contacted Viracopos Airport, but there was still no response.
