The source code leaks threatens both the safety of digital assets and the confidentiality of users, since hackers can access their personal data.
The largest Iranian Nobitex exchange, which serves more than 10 million users and processes transactions for $ 11 billion, was forced to suspend the work of the platform and its applications, which practically paralyzed the trading of digital assets in the country. For nobitex, this means the need for a radical review of its safety infrastructure.
In response to existential threats from the Prozrail hacker groups, the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) introduced temporary restrictions on the work of local crypto -plots. Now they are allowed to serve customers only from 10:00 to 20:00 daily, representatives of the American company Chainalysis said.
At the same time, monitoring specialists of the Georgian Technological University Fixed “Almost complete disconnection of the Internet in Iran” around 17:00 local time, which confirms the country’s authorities to protect themselves from further hacks and violations of the safety of critical infrastructures.
