Apparently, Huawei has begun preparations to follow in the footsteps of Apple, Samsung and even a little Xiaomi – to get rid of the “extra” charger in the set of smartphones.

Huawei has re-certified its flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 40 Pro from China’s 3C regulator. Moreover, in the description of the characteristics of the device it is now mentioned that in the version with a glass back panel the charger is now “optional”.
Thus, the company obtained the right not to include the charger in the kit. However, for the version with leather-like finish, the charger remained a standard item in the delivery set.
Note that now the Huawei Mate 40 Pro package includes quite a few items, including a power adapter, a USB Type-C cable, headphones with a USB Type-C connector, and a flexible protective case.
