The 58-year-old actor lost his life along with his wife, Gwen Shamblin, and five other people in the crash of a private jet, departed from Smyrna Rutheford County and plunged into the waters of Percy Priest Lake.
“Our efforts have gone from a first hope of rescue to the realization that we would have recovered the corpses,” a spokesman for the rescue teams, who worked on the spot for hours, explained to the press.
