Google has responded to rumors that have appeared on the network today about the cancellation of the new model of the branded line of Pixel smartphones.
As first the authoritative network informant Jon Prosser, and then the Android Central resource, citing two independent sources at once, the company decided to cancel the release of the Pixel 5A 5G due to the shortage of microcircuits.

Pixel 5a 5G has not been canceled. It will be available later this year in the US and Japan, and will be announced at the same time as last year’s A-series smartphone was unveiled.
