Chromebook is 10 years old. In honor of this anniversary, Google has added new features and updated existing features of the Chrome OS operating system.
Google launched the Phone Hub program, which improves collaboration between Chromebook and Android smartphone. This means that users have a built-in control center that brings the key features of the gadget to Chromebook. Now all you have to do is tap the phone icon to reply to a text message, check the phone’s battery life, turn on the hotspot, and even find out its location.
In addition, Google has expanded Wi-Fi Sync to work with more devices. Chromebook is now able to automatically connect to trusted networks that are used on Android.
The new Screen Capture tool in the quick settings menu allows you to take accurate screenshots and screen recordings without having to memorize keyboard shortcuts. That is, all recent files will be stored in one space – in Tote.

Also, multimedia controls have been built into the quick settings menu, so that the user can always fix the media player in any position.
Google has added a new clipboard that saves the last five copied items. Therefore, the user can easily find and insert the desired element on a new page without switching between windows.

There is also a quick replies feature that automatically suggests useful information.
