Samsung Electronics has presented an interesting update to its browser – Samsung Internet. The fresh beta version 14.2 offers several useful innovations as well as a number of improvements.

First, it became possible to individually manage site permissions and enable / disable access to location, camera and microphone. There is also a new bookmark bar that gives you quick access to your favorite sites.

And thirdly, a feature has appeared that, for example, is not present in the dominant Google Chrome browser market. The Continue apps on other devices feature is now able to sync the position on pages opened in the browser. Thus, it will be more convenient to continue reading the article on another device. True, it only works in the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem.
Other improvements include more gestures for the S Pen, a new pop-up to save updated passwords to Samsung Pass, and a redesigned tab bar.
Note that, according to StatCounter, in April, Samsung Internet ranks fifth among browsers for all devices around the world, including computers, consoles, smartphones and tablets. If we consider only smartphones, then Samsung Internet ranks third with a share of 6.04%, followed by Google Chrome with 63.517% and Safari with 24.43%.
