Read Later has been around in Chrome for iOS since 2017, and preparations began last year for Chrome for PC. At the same time, the Android version has so far remained “uncovered”. Alternatively, Chrome for Android offers a page download feature.

Read Later is now available by default in the Canary test channel, even without activating the special flag. In other channels, it can be activated on the page with test capabilities chrome: // flags / # read-later.

It works like this: when you long-click on the link, a drop-down menu appears, in which the option “Read later” has now appeared among items like “Open in a new tab” and “Save data by link”.
