Google has released a fresh beta version of the Chrome browser. All fans of experiments can already download and try out Chrome 90 Beta.

One of the most noticeable changes to ordinary users is the improved clipboard, which takes copying and pasting content to the next level.

In Chrome, work is underway to allow pasting files to sites copied by the user from the computer from the file manager. This is done by allowing web applications to access the addresses of files on the computer. For now, the feature needs to be manually activated on the experimental page: chrome: // flags / # clipboard-filenames.

Chrome 90 brings significant improvements to augmented reality technology, making augmented and virtual reality objects more realistic, and improved acceleration sensors, which promises greater accuracy for games and apps that rely on user movement. Google developers also drew attention to improving the convenience of video conferencing, including support for the AV1 codec. Increased performance, optimization of processor and memory resource consumption, and a number of other useful improvements and changes are promised.
