Google Doodle celebrates Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos; Saci is left out

THE Google search engine doodle — special change to the company’s logo that celebrates holidays, events, achievements and notable historical figures — this Thursday (31) is a ghost and bat killing game that celebrates Halloween .

The commemorative game consisted of making you draw with the mouse the symbols that were drawn on the heads of ghosts and bats so that you could kill them. To access the game, simply enter the search engine’s website and click on the themed logo.

Halloween also gained an animation in which a flock of bats crosses the screen whenever the user searches for the term in the Google search engine.

The tribute also extended to Dia de los Muertos, a typical Mexican celebration celebrated on All Souls’ Day, which will be on Saturday (2). Anyone looking for the Mexican festival will find themed flags that are activated if the user clicks on the skull button that appears at the bottom of the screen.

Who also has his date celebrated this Thursday (31) is Saci, a character from national folklore who was left out of Google’s tribute. Nothing special appears in the technology company’s search engine if someone searches for it.
