Google has planned to bring its employees back into the office this week and is offering them free electric scooters as an added bonus to ease the transition from remote work.

For the sake of such a bonus, Google began to cooperate with the manufacturer of e-scooters Unagi. Under the Ride Scoot program, most US Google employees will be refunded the full cost of their Unagi Model One electric scooter subscription – a subscription scheme is assumed and employees must use the scooter at least nine times a month to receive a full refund.
The Unagi Model One is a lightweight twin-engine scooter with a top speed of 32 km/h and a range of 25 km. It usually sells for $990.
As Unagi founder and CEO David Hyman explained, the idea was to help Google employees get to work or to the nearest stop where employees are picked up by a branded bus.
