According to the developers, the feature is designed to easily create quality videos without becoming an expert in video editing. The function has already received flattering responses on the web.

The editor allows you to crop, rotate and stabilize, change perspective, use filters, and make detailed edits, including adjusting brightness, contrast, saturation, and so on. In total, Google offers over 30 settings.

The new video editor has already begun rolling out on Google Photos for iOS and will be available on most Android devices in the coming weeks.

Another innovation in Google Photos is the new editing features that are only available to paid users – Google One subscribers. Previously, these functions were only available for smartphones of the Pixel branded line.

We are talking about Portrait Blur and Portrait Light, which use an artificial intelligence system to blur the background in portraits and adjust the light in the face area. Since it uses AI and not actual information from the depth sensor, the functions can be applied to photographs that were not actually captured in portrait mode. The Blur and Color Pop functions using depth information remain free.

Google One users also have access to Super Filters using machine learning, such as Dynamic to intelligently adjust the brightness and contrast of a photo, and Sky to correct the color of the sky in the image.

All of these photo editing features will be available to Google One subscribers in the Android app in the coming days.
