The team of the popular service Google Photos (Google Photos) is preparing to launch a new interesting function – it will be possible to send a request for photos to friends and family.

Hints of an imminent launch of the innovation were found by enthusiastic developer Jane Manchum Wong, who posted screenshots on her Twitter page.

The screenshots show the new Ask friends for photos option in the advanced Sharing section.
The only noticeable limitation is that the recipient of this request needs to have Google Photos installed on their device in order to access the link and start sharing photos.
The function “Ask friends for photos” can be useful in situations when you want to create a large joint album after family meetings, events, vacations, and so on, which will include all the photos taken by all participants.
