Google: Problems connecting to the search engine in more than 40 countries

The popular search engine of Google with several users declaring their inability to use itaccording to the online platform Downdetector that logs online crashes.

Users also reported problems with other Google servicessuch as Gmail, Google maps and Google images, which depend on the searching machine for their operation.

It affected over 1,300 computers

The network monitoring company ThousandEyes Inc reported, according to the British “Guardian”, that Google’s problems had affected at least 1,338 computers – servers (servers) worldwide in more than 40 countries, including USA, Australia, South Africa, Kenya, Israel, Europe, China, Japan, etc.

Users who tried to use the search engine received, as reported by the Athens News Agency, the error message 502 or 500 and were asked to try again later. Some took to Twitter to express their displeasure or to alternative search engines like Bing.

Google did not comment on the cause of its technical problems. Although the company does not provide figures for “traffic” to its search engine, it is believed to be the most frequently used website in the world, with over 80 billion hits per year.
