Google has introduced new wireless headphones Pixel Buds A, which are positioned by the manufacturer as “popular”.

The Pixel Buds A cost $ 99, which is noticeably cheaper than last year’s $ 179 Pixel Buds and $ 60 less than Apple’s AirPods with non-wireless charging case.
To reduce the cost, Google had to sacrifice part of the functionality, for example, the case does not support wireless charging and is not protected from moisture, the “swipe” control and the function of reducing wind noise have disappeared.

The earbuds still support Google Assistant, real-time translation in over 40 languages and are IPX4 waterproof. The battery life is 5 hours on a single charge, and the case adds another 19 hours.

Pixel Buds A will go on sale June 17th in olive and white body colors. The US and Canada have already started accepting pre-orders.
