A new Google survey, released on Wednesday (7), mapped the intentions and feelings that permeate planning for Mother’s Day. The study revealed that the desires to strengthen unity, express unconditional love and manifest the deep gratitude that children, fathers and mothers nourish each other, are above gifts and encounters.
According to Google, almost 40% of Brazilians make a point of celebrating the date. Another portion of respondents says he still studies how to make the day special. The research shows that the intention of doing something memorable is in advance planning and begins two months before the celebration. The trend has been seen in the last two years.
According to the study, six among ten people said that a home meal will be held next to the family. Three others claim that the special lunch will be made in restaurants, especially those who have barbecue or pasta. Lastly, one of them will ask for food via Delivery.
For those who will not be at home, the main request is a trip to a place considered welcoming in Brazil. About 41% of the answers consider the possibility, with hotels and inns in the lead of the preferably places. Another option seen in the research is the delivery of a gift that expresses something in the relationship between mothers and children.
Regarding those present, the study shows that the search for them intensifies weeks before the date. About 63% of consumers plan purchases up to 15 days in advance.
Preeze in the areas of beauty and fashion are the search leaders at the time of giving a mother, but the research points out a growing interest in gifts that provide learning and personal development. A total of 16% of people intend to opt for vocational and language courses, for example.
And how do mothers plan?
Since the day is all of them, nothing fairer than mothers also prepare for the special date in advance.
The research pointed out that three among ten women would like to make some special preparation. The main ones are focused on self -care, such as doing the nail, “dealing with the hair” or even making a makeup of your choice.
“Consumers, when celebrating Mother’s Day, seek more than just a gift, they value the creation of lasting memories and a significant experience that recognizes their individuality. Our study reveals the need for offers and celebrations to be personalized according to the different profiles of mothers and their specific desires, building a connection that reflects the feelings that the date represents,” says Camila Cardoso, the leader of strategic insights in Google Brazil.
