Google has added a very interesting feature to the Google Earth mobile app without much ad.

A feature called Timelapse is already available on the web version of Google Earth for computers and mobiles, and now a similar feature for Time Machine has been found and activated in the Android app.
This was revealed by a developer named Kyler. Moreover, if the web version of Timelapse promised “the opportunity to see changes in this or that region of the Earth over more than 30 years”, then Kyler managed to see the San Francisco version of 1938 using Time Machine.
#google earth for #android. Here’s what #SanFrancisco looked like in 1938! I enabled some experimental settings and exposed Time Machine 🙂

As you can see in the screenshot posted by Kyler, the interface is noticeably different from the web version. With the help of a special “slider” you can “jump” along the timeline or use the “arrows” to move to a certain year.
It is unclear at what stage of development this feature is now and when it will become available to regular users.
