Entertainment Space focuses on media consumption. The new Entertainment Space section will appear on the left side of the home screen. The new feature will initially be available on tablets from US retailer Walmart in May, and then will roll out internationally to devices from Lenovo, Sharp and other manufacturers.

The Entertainment Space section brings together videos (Watch section – series, films and YouTube), games (Games), and books (Read). The Watch section looks like the Google TV interface adjusted for screen size – a large main banner at the top, a list of installed streaming services on the device, and recommendations. If the user has a Chromecast with Google TV, then the content will be synchronized and the started videos can be continued to watch from the point of stopping.

The Games tab contains recommended games on Google Play that are already installed on the device. Games that support Instant Play can be played without long waiting times for download.
