Government agencies are switching to Linux and they need an office suite. The Russian “MyOffice” is ported

The development company “MyOffice” announced the release of its desktop document editors for private users on Linux. The reason for this was the implementation of the provisions of government programs for the transformation of software technologies – government agencies, educational institutions and even commercial corporations are switching to operating systems with the Linux kernel.

Version 2022.01 of the package “MyOffice Standard. Home Edition ”is supplied as RPM and DEB installation files. The developers note that the office suite is compatible with many Linux-based operating systems and fully supports the Russian Alt platform with Astra Linux.

It should be noted that the main competitor of “MyOffice” in the person of “P7-Office” already has a Linux version of its product (for individuals, organizations and educational institutions).
