With the change, travelers can choose to present proof of vaccination or negative test for entry into Brazil .

The measure simplifies existing controls, as it allows any traveler to fulfill any of the necessary requirements.

The proof of vaccination can be printed or electronic. The proof of carrying out a test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection must present a negative or non-detectable result, and may be of the antigen test or laboratory molecular diagnosis (RT-PCR) type performed one day before the moment of shipment.

According to the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), the recommendation is based on the position of the World Health Organization (WHO), which emphasizes that testing and quarantine policies should be regularly reviewed to ensure that they are suspended when they are not. most needed.
