On Monday (10), the anchor of CNN Daniela Lima said that a meeting would take place this Tuesday to review the restrictions in force in the state. Also on this day, the vaccine passport requirement for all events in the capital of São Paulo began to be valid.

Later, in an interview with CNN, Secretary Jean Gorinchteyn stated that São Paulo will follow the rules of the Ministry of Health to reduce the isolation time from ten to seven days in mild and moderate cases.

Pandemic advances in São Paulo

The state of São Paulo has registered an increase in the number of cases of Covid-19 and Influenza in recent weeks.

In addition, private hospitals in the capital also show an increase in cases of Covid in children.

Another worrying fact is the growing number of health professionals in greater São Paulo who are on leave due to respiratory diseases. According to Gorinchteyn, the reduction in quarantine time benefits a faster return to work, but no less safe.
