For the highways managed by the Department of Highways (DER) the forecast is that 2.8 million vehicles will pass.

According to Artesp, the guideline to avoid traffic jams is that drivers avoid peak hours.

In addition, messages with guidelines will be displayed on electronic panels (PMVs) distributed by the network granted.

“The highways are expected to be quite busy during this period of end-of-the-year festivities, however, we are already prepared to meet the high demand and offer all the conditions for safer and more comfortable travel, and if there is a need for assistance quickly, the teams will be ready to offer it”, stated the director-general of Artesp. Milton Personal.

In addition to the operational and inspection reinforcements, the state highways will have the use of drones, which will allow field teams a better response time and decision-making, as well as inspection cameras, which supply the operational centers 24 hours a day, and 551 traffic sensors. The highways administered by the DER and those granted, under the supervision of Artesp, have operational resources such as tow trucks, inspection vehicles and ambulances.
