The government published this Tuesday night (7), in an extra edition of the DOU (Official Gazette) the provisional measure (MP) that guarantees the first payment of Auxílio Brasil, in December.
The schedule is for payments to start from Friday (10).
This Tuesday, the presidents of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), and the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), agreed on the promulgation of points common to both houses on the PEC of Precatório, which makes the resources for the new social program viable.
But the Ministry of Citizenship would not have time to make payments from Friday if it were to wait for the final approval of the PEC.
That is why the publication of the MP, which guarantees that the Ministry of Citizenship uses remaining funds from Bolsa Família to make this first payment of R$400 to the beneficiaries.
To continue the program beyond December, the government still needs the approval of the PEC dos Precatórios.
