The federal government received a proposal for all three blocks of airports that will be auctioned this Thursday, 18, in the seventh round of Airport Concessions. One of the terminals that are going to tender is the Congonhas terminal (SP), located in downtown São Paulo
The interest in the three blocks was confirmed by the Minister of Infrastructure, Marcelo Sampaio. “We continue to work without optimism or pessimism, but making it happen and ensuring the advancement of the country’s infrastructure. On the 18/8th, we will be hitting the hammer at B3, auctioning 15 airports, from the 3 blocks of the 7th round”, said Sampaio on social media. Those interested in the auction had to submit their proposals this Monday, 15.
The event is expected to attract R$ 7.2 billion in investments. Congonhas airport leads the SP/MS/PA/MG Block, which also comprises ten other terminals: Campo Grande (MS), Corumbá (MS), Ponta Porã (MS), Santarém (PA), Marabá (PA), Carajás (PA), Altamira (PA), Uberlândia (MG), Uberaba (MG) and Montes Claros (MG).
The other blocks in the round scheduled for this Thursday comprise the general aviation airports of Campo de Marte (SP) and Jacarepaguá (RJ), and the terminals of Belém (PA) and Macapá (AP).
