Governor elections reflect differences in political scenarios in the states

A few days before the elections, the dispute for state governments may or may not reflect the national scenario, marked by a polarization between Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), who appears at the front of the polls, and Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

In Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, for example, the candidates supported by the two presidential candidates are repeating the clash at the regional level. In Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Pará and Amazonas, the electoral race revolves around governors elected four years ago.

In Bahia, the leader in the polls sees the advantage diminishing. And, in Ceará and Pernambuco, the division between leftist forces opens space for candidates from other political fields to advance.

In this episode of E Tem Mais, Carol Nogueira presents an assessment of the situation of the electoral race for the governorship in these states. To describe expectations and projections about the electoral dispute in different regions of Brazil, the political analyst of CNN Yuri Pitta.
