The American singer Gracie Abrams used social media to show the creative process of composing the track “Us” together with Taylor Swift . The song is featured on Gracie’s new studio album, “The Secret Of Us” which was released this Friday (21).
Gracie Abrams published a video of the two thinking about the song’s lyrics together. “Writing this entire song from 2am to 6am was one of the most fun times I’ve ever had in my entire life,” she wrote in the post’s caption. In addition to participating in the composition, Taylor Swift also sings in “Us”.
The song is part of Gracie Abrams’ second studio album. The project has 13 tracks and is also produced and composed by musicians Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff.
In the publication by the owner of “Secret Of Us”, there is also a video of Taylor Swift putting out a fire in her own kitchen. “Taylor Swift, now we know how to use a fire extinguisher. I love you”, added the artist in the caption.
In the video, the blonde appears holding a fire extinguisher while trying to figure out how to use it: “I don’t know!” she exclaimed. “I think we’re going to die!” she added jokingly. After successfully putting out the fire using the fire extinguisher, Taylor said: “Our bags are ruined. And my shoes. And the whole room, I think.”
In an interview with Billboard, Gracie Abrams said that the fire started due to a fallen candle.
