Suspects are investigated for crimes against heritage, crimes against consumer relations and criminal association, with penalties that can reach 13 years in prison and fine.

Company closing and cancellation of events

On the morning of January 31, the couple responsible for the companies Image Eventos and Graduar Decoration and Photography released a note informing the closure of the establishment, surprising employees, graduates and their families.

According to Decon’s delegate, Rogério Ferreira, investigations indicate that entrepreneurs knew that they could not comply with their commitments and planned the company’s closure at least four months before the closure of the activities.

“The investigators closed new contracts, demanding cash payments, made promotions, hidden digital media of events that had not been delivered in order to be sold later, all for the purpose of raising values to close the company and leave the city,” explained the delegate.
