The Grammy Awards have opened voting so that Academy members can choose the award winners. They will be able to vote for the best in each category until January 4, 2024.
The information was published by the magazine Variety. According to the publication, the committee that will choose the winners is the same one that analyzed the more than 16 thousand entries for the award to arrive at the list of nominees, which was released in November this year.
The 66th edition of the awards is scheduled to take place on February 4, in Los Angeles.
Among the nominees, the highlight is the singer SZA, who received a total of nine nominations. Her album “SOS” is competing for Best Album of the Year, in addition to competing in the Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories with the hit “Kill Bill”.
Highlight also goes to Time magazine’s person of the year – Taylor Swift. The singer is tipped to receive the Best Album category for “Midnights”, in addition to being nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, Jon Batiste, Lana Del Rey, Boygenius and Janelle Monae.
