Grant credit 1.12 million to companies in Northern Evia affected by pandemic and fires

The Government and the Ministry of Finance, guided by the support of the companies that have been negatively affected by the coronavirus crisis and their financial losses intensified by the big fires of the summer in Northern Evia, proceed today, January 5, to the second payment to beneficiaries of the special regime for business support in the Municipalities of Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna and Istiaia – Edipsos.

In particular, a total amount of 1,123,680 euros is credited to the bank accounts of 181 beneficiaries.

The beneficiary companies will see the credit in the accounts they have declared in myAADE (myaade.gov.gr) until the evening, depending on the credit flows of each bank.

To date, a total of 4,590,749.03 euros have been distributed to 853 beneficiary companies that have submitted their applications.

Prospectively, with the completion of the processing of the applications and the submitted data, new payments will follow in the next period.

The grant is paid in accordance with the terms of the European Commission Communication on the “Temporary Framework” (COVID-19), subject to the approval of the scheme by the Commission, to which it has been notified.

It is recalled that, as announced yesterday, the Government and the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE), proceeded to modify the special regime to support businesses in the Municipalities of Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna and Istiaia – Istiaia North Evia.

With this modification [Κοινή Υπουργική Απόφαση 168528ΕΞ2021/31.12.2021 (Β΄ 6374)] the beneficiaries are enlarged and the scheme’s budget is increased to EUR 11.5 million.

In addition, the deadline for submitting applications to the online platform myBusinessSupport of AADE (https://www.aade.gr/mybusinesssupport), for inclusion in the special scheme, is extended, until January 21, 2022.
