Great Britain: Downing Street party findings to be announced soon

The findings of a British government report on the parties at the prime minister’s residence during the lockdown will be known soon, as Deputy Finance Minister Simon Clark said today, estimating that Boris Johnson did not lie and described him as a good man and a good leader.

Regarding the measures to stop the pandemic, he said that the government is considering a possible change in the regulations for the mandatory vaccination of health workers.

Clark also called on those who have misused public money intended to support the people during the pandemic to return it, and stressed that the Tax Office will prosecute anyone who has fraudulently extorted money for this purpose.

“Anyone who thinks they can escape the long hand of the Tax Office is wrong,” he warned.

The exact amount of money-laundering fraud for the pandemic is unknown, but various estimates put the figure at more than six billion euros.
