Greece gives 20,000 doses of vaccines to Northern Macedonia

The installments amount to 20,000 vaccines for the coronavirus that Greece will send to Northern Macedonia according to the Minister of Health Venko Filipce. During the week, Northern Macedonia will also receive 50,000 doses from Bulgaria.

The vaccines will most likely be AstraZeneca, which the country only gives to people over 60 years of age. Only 4% of the population has received both doses of the vaccine

According to information from the Ministry of Health Northern Macedonia, so far 315,781 citizens of the country received the first dose of vaccine, while 81,273 citizens received the second dose, ie only 4% of the population has been vaccinated with the second dose. The reason for this small percentage is due to the delay with which the vaccination started in Northern Macedonia but also to the lack of vaccines in the country. A total of 431,770 citizens of the country have so far expressed a desire to be vaccinated through the relevant electronic platform, according to the Athenian-Macedonian News Agency correspondent.
