The Greek security forces are on partial alert on the occasion of Chinese a 21-tonne Long March rocket that is expected to enter the Earth’s atmosphere uncontrollably in the next few hours (most likely in the early hours of Sunday morning) and whose fragments are expected to crash somewhere between 41.5 ° N and 41.5 ° N at the same time, as Greece is in the danger zone.

In fact, the Civil Aviation Service issued NOTAM. Its validity, ie the standby period is from today Saturday 8/5 21:12 pm, local time, until tomorrow Sunday 9/5 noon 12:46. Most space objects burn as they enter the Earth’s atmosphere and this is expected to happen with most of rocket.

However, some of its components, such as gas ducts and fuel tanks, are designed to withstand high temperatures and are expected to reach the Earth’s surface. Greece is located at the northern end of the possible entry zone.

The zone extends from the 40th parallel north of Ecuador (at the height of Thessaloniki) to the 40th parallel south of Ecuador (at the height of New Zealand).

Based on the law of probability, the space object will fall either at sea or in an uninhabited area, while if it enters the atmosphere at night, it will be spectacular.
