Greece trained the Armed Forces of Northern Macedonia in Skopje

Training of staff Armed forces of the Republic of Northern Macedonia took place under the auspices of the General Staff of National Defense.

As announced, a team of instructors from the Interdisciplinary War School went to Skopje and provided training on the interdisciplinary business planning procedures, while officers of the 4th branch of the General Directorate of Warfare conducted online teaching on standardization procedures. NATO and the development, updating and implementation of allied standards and dogmas.

The trainings are part of the network of related actions of GEETHA with Republic of Northern Macedonia, such as the NATO standardization training conducted by GEETHA staff in December 2020, the signing of an agreement on mutual protection of exchanged classified information in February 2021, as well as a number of other training activities between the Armed Forces of the two countries.

The activities took place in the framework of the military cooperation program and aim at assisting the Greek Armed Forces in the smooth and rapid familiarization of the Republic of Northern Macedonia with the alliance procedures, as well as strengthening the ties between the Armed Forces of the two countries.
