Greece will request the investigation of war crimes in Mariupol from the International Court of Justice in The Hague, as announced today by Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, attending the NATO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, which is meeting today for a second day in Brussels.
In particular, Mr. Dendias stated: “Greece will ask the International Court of Justice in The Hague to investigate war crimes committed in Mariupol. Greece has a special interest in Mariupol, due to the Greek community of over 100,000 people there. In addition, “I will ask my counterparts in the Alliance to do the best they can to help Ukraine and protect Odessa, so that Odessa does not have the fate of Mariupol.”
