The 13th Joint Interministerial Committee for Industrial, Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Greece and Russia – held in Moscow – was co-chaired today, the second day of his visit to the Russian capital, by Deputy Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis.
He also announced in a post on Twitter that he co-signed the Greek-Russian Cooperation Protocol with the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Saveliev. “The Cooperation Protocol is a successful agreement that paves the way for a new deeper cooperation between Greece and Russia and lays the foundations for a productive and successful visit of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis,” he said.
Last night, as part of the first day of his visit to Russia, Mr. Varvitsiotis met with Greek businessmen at the Greek Embassy in Moscow. “It was a special night today at the Greek embassy in Moscow with Greek businessmen operating in Russia. The cornerstone of Greek-Russian cooperation lies in the economy. We trust Greek businessmen. You are our best ambassadors!” underlined in a relevant post.
