Green Pass: what has changed since February

The Council of Ministers should launch new rules already today such as the extension of the use of outdoor masks and the extension, until February 5, of the closure of discos. There are though already written rules that come into force from Tuesday 1st February, most of it concerns the Green Pass.

Green Pass

From Tuesday it is mandatory to have at least the basic Green Pass, the one you get with an antigenic pad, valid for 48 hours, or molecular, which lasts 72 hours, to enter most stores. It is already used, strengthened, for bars and restaurants, cinemas and theaters, swimming pools and gyms. It is also used for public transport. The basic one is enough as early as January 20 for hairdressers and beauty centers. It will also be needed for post offices, banks, tobacconists, bookstores and public offices.

Senza Green Pass

You can enter these without green certification shops:
Hypermarkets, supermarkets, grocery discount stores, mini markets and other establishments that sell various foods
Retail sale of frozen products
Commerce to the detail of domestic animals and foods for domestic animals
Commerce to the detail of hygienic-sanitary articles
Fuel distributors
Pharmacies, parapharmacies and other specialized stores of medicines without a doctor’s prescription, medical and orthopedic items
Opticians
Commerce to the detail of fuel for domestic use and for heating

In these shops and resales “access allows thepurchase of any type of goods, even if not linked to the satisfaction of essential and primary needs “.

Checks are not compulsory at the entrance, but can be done on a sample basis.

Expiration

It always remains valid, since a third dose of vaccine has not been authorized, the Green Pass for those who have three doses of the vaccine. For those who have received one or two doses, the validity passes from 9 to 6 months.

Trips

For travelers from European Union countries, a tampon is no longer needed, the Green Pass is enough.

Vaccination obligation

From Tuesday, February 1, the fines for those over 50 years old and not vaccinated have been applied. In fact, the vaccination obligation for over-50s starts. The penalty, disputed because it is considered too low, is 100 euros one-off. From 15 February, always the over 50s, vaccination is also mandatory for work. The unvaccinated will not get the salary, even if they keep their jobs. The fine, if found in the workplace without the Green Pass obtained with vaccination, will range from 600 to 1500 euros.
