Referring to the actions of the Imbria Association, she underlined that their initiatives, under the guidance of the Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew, contribute decisively to the strengthening of the presence of the Imbrians, the claim and protection of their rights and the improvement of their rights.

“In particular, your contribution to the reopening of expatriate schools of all levels in Imvros has led to the return of Imbrians to their island. Thanks to your efforts, the Greek families of the island work in their place, give birth to children, build a hopeful future. We all hope. “This course will continue fruitfully in the years to come, with the aim of reviving the Greek minority in its ancestral land,” said Ms. Sakellaropoulou.
