The Rio de Janeiro Civil Police arrested the leader of a gang of robbers specializing in applying the blow known as “good night, Cinderella” on the night of Friday (21).
THE CNN It found that the suspicion was identified as Claudia Mayara Alves Soliva. The main targets of the scheme, which worked at parties and events in the city center, were tourists and students.
Investigations point out that the criminal acted with two other women and one man to commit crimes. The group mingled between bars goers and the suspicions presented themselves as call girls for the victims.
Then the criminals went to the Parque União community in the Maré Complex, or went to the victim’s house. In both places, they offered beverages that contained tranquilizer, in order to cause fainting in those who ingest the substance. With the fade, the suspects made bank transfers and purchases with the victim’s credit card.
According to investigations, the gang is still involved in the death of a Colombian tourist in October last year, also in Rio de Janeiro.
The man would have been a victim of the coup and later got sick and died after ingesting the sedatives. The criminals made several purchases with the victim’s card, even with him already killed.
Claudia Mayara will respond for consummated murder and theft. The case is still investigated to investigate the responsibilities of the others involved.
