Images that have viralized on social networks show a group of people carrying a coffin inside a bus in Minas Gerais. The case occurred last Monday (12) and was repudiated by the company responsible for transportation.
In a note published by Viação União, the company points out that the episode was a “bad joke”. In addition, it is also highlighted that the empty coffin was identified by the line driver, who intervened and prevented the continuity of the situation.
“We are internally evaluating what happened and collaborating with the competent authorities, if necessary, to prevent similar episodes from happening again,” the company said in a statement.
In the video, it is possible to hear one of the men asking if it would be necessary to pay the passage of the coffin.
“He pays for a ticket or for him for free? Is his last trip,” said the man involved.
