Fresh statistics from Steam show that gamers are again paying attention to Windows 7. Over the month, the share of the 64-bit version of this OS has grown by 0.6 percentage points, to 5.48%. Windows 10, of course, still dominates at almost 90%.

Also pay attention to the video cards section. The GTX 1060 is still the leader with a share of 8.9%, although this share has decreased by 0.69 percentage points. But all Ampere cards showed growth. The strongest growth was seen in the share of RTX 3060 (by 12 p.p.) and its mobile version (by 0.14 p.p.). True, even in total, they occupy only 1.3%. At the same time, the Radeon RX 6000 line is still completely absent from the statistics, which indicates a scanty number of such cards in the hands of users. For comparison, Intel HD Graphics 4400 is in the last position of the list with a share of 0.15%.

If we talk about the CPU, then AMD continues to squeeze Intel. The first takes almost 29%, having increased its share over the month by 0.78 percentage points.

We can also note an increase in the share of eight-core processors (by 0.45 p.p.), to 12.23%. So far, quad-core processors are in the lead with a share of 41.61%.
