A 35 -year -old Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) killed a 58 man after a traffic fight. The case occurred on Francisco Marengo Avenue, in Suzano, Greater São Paulo, this Sunday (18).
By the time the Military Police arrived at the scene, the man was found shot. He was rescued, but could not resist his injuries. According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the agent was arrested in the act for murder by confessing that he would have committed the crime after a discussion.
Suzano City Hall stated that the guard was out of service at the time. In addition, he said that “the GCM Corregedoria has already been called and takes all appropriate measures, with the opening of an administrative process for the immediate removal of the server.”
In a statement, the institution said it vehemently repudiates any act of violence and reinforces that behaviors of this nature do not reflect the values and principles that guide the performance of GCM.
“All agents undergo strict training, which include training in the use of weapons and periodic psychological evaluations, aiming to ensure the fitness and balance necessary for the performance of their duties,” the city said in a statement.
The guard’s weapon was seized and sent to expertise. The accused was taken to the police station and remains at the disposal of justice.
