Guardian: Are we heading for yet another world war or has it already started?

In a week in which the former allies in a reassured world celebrated the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the sense of a devastating course towards a third world war is becoming increasingly intense. According to the Guardian, Pax Americana’s collapse, interdependence of conflict, the new willingness to resort to ruthless state violence, and the abuse of the institutions of the international order based on rules, were revealed with barbarism this week. From Kashmir to Han Junis, Thick, Port Sudan and Kursk, the only sound heard is of explosions and the only lesson is that the old rules no longer apply.
