Minister Paulo Guedes spoke today in Dubai. The head of the Economy ministry stated that Brazil is growing above the world average. He also said that the country is carrying out privatizations and ending retirement privileges and, therefore, becoming a paradise for entrepreneurs.

More signings

Brazilian companies are more optimistic and project growth with the advance of vaccination and the gradual return of economic activities. A LinkedIn survey shows that between October 2019 and October this year there was a 25% increase in hiring. Another survey, carried out by the website Empregos.com, with 190,000 companies registered, shows that in October 2021 the site offered more than 70,000 fixed vacancies, a monthly variation of 1.69% and an increase of 33% compared to October 2020.

Basic basket

Rio de Janeiro has the most expensive food basket among the most populous capitals in the country. The average price of the basket in the city was nearly R$ 810 in October, according to a survey by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). In all, the research considered eight Brazilian capitals.

Atacarejos

With high inflation and increasingly expensive prices, many Brazilians have sought to shop at “atacarejos” — hypermarkets where you can buy large or small quantities of a product and the price difference can be considerable.
