The Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, participates, this Tuesday (24), in a panel accompanied by a dinner with presidents of countries and executives of large companies during the World Economic Forum, in Davos. Hours before the event, reservations were sold out.
With the theme “Understanding the stakeholder paradigm in Latin America”, Guedes will have at his side the presidents of Colombia, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic; Forum founder and CEO Klaus Schwab; and the Vice President and Minister of Social Development and Inclusion of Peru, Dina Ercília Boluarte.
The idea is for participants to discuss how the Latin American region can develop in a sustainable and inclusive way based on the adoption of ESG principles. Guedes is expected to speak for a few minutes.
The meeting will be moderated by the Forum’s executive responsible for the Latin America region, with an opening by Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach and Forum Director Oliver Schwab. Also participating as speakers are the founder and CEO of Nubank, David Vélez, the former executive secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Latin America, Alicia Bárcena Ibarra, and the founder of Sistema B and highlight of the COP 25, Gonzalo Muñoz. .
