Guinness World Record for 90-year-old Japanese: Becomes the oldest office manager

A 90 year old Japanese woman working for the same company since 1956 broke the Guinness World Record as the older office manager in the world, reports APE.

Yasuko Tamaki, who will celebrate her 91st birthday on May 15, continues to work five days a week at Sunco Industries for 7 1/2 hours a day.

“I’m really excited,” Yasuko Tamaki told officials Guinness record when she received her certificate and expressed gratitude for the work environment in which she has remained for so many years.

“I always thought I was born to help others. That’s why I want to do things that make presidents, managers and other staff happy. That remains my lifelong goal, “he said.

The 90-year-old clarified that there is no retirement for her. “Once the time is up, there is the next one. So I hope to continue like this. “

Yasuko Tamaki works in accounting, calculating staff salaries and bonuses, as well as tax rebates and has all the necessary applications such as Microsoft Excel on her home computer.

She is also comfortable using the Facebook app on her smartphone.

Yasuko Tamaki was recognized for her many years of service to the company and is now the oldest office manager.

Presenting the Guinness World Record, Yasuko Tamaki told her colleagues to live strong with the “if you lose today, then there is no tomorrow” mentality.
