In the 2000s it was a real catchphrase: the T-shirt with daisy he had conquered everyone, from football players to television showgirls, from deejays of the most famous Italian discos to cover characters.
And, in a short time, that flower with its simple and immediate graphics became an icon of those years (as well as being a great marketing case still studied today).
The apex? Guru achieved it with the sponsorship in formula one of Team Renault by Flavio Briatore and the driver Fernando Alonso. Not bad for a small project born only a few years earlier with an investment of a few million lire.
Over the years, many things have changed, but in 2018 Gianluca Sessarego, CEO of the Monegasque company Ghep specialized in the production and marketing of branded clothing and footwear at an international level, he senses the potential of this brand and, after obtaining the master license in 2020, this year he bought the Guru brand with the aim of making the daisy return to the crest wave.
Collaborations have already begun: the first is the one with Marbel Group, Italian company leader in the kidswear sector for over 30 years founded by Giuseppe Cariello, CEO of Marbel Spa. And the next goal? The international market.
Great expectation for the next one Spring-summer 2022, season of the great relaunch of the brand. The distinctive signs will be the same as always: the flower with 6 petals, the colors and the joy.
