After the Gusttavo Lima’s arrest warrant to be revoked on Tuesday afternoon (24), the country star’s lawyer confirmed in an interview with CNN that the concert schedule will be maintained, with the date confirmed for September 27th in Marabá, Pará.
“I want to reassure all of Gusttavo’s fans in Brazil and around the world, thank them for the affection and messages of solidarity that were sent to him, I want to reassure them that Gustavo’s schedule is maintained and all of the shows will be perfectly performed by the singer”, confirms Cláudio Bessa, Gusttavo Lima’s lawyer.
In addition to Pará, Gusttavo Lima is also expected to perform in Parauapebas, Bahia, on September 28th.
Gusttavo Lima too was hired by the city of Petrolândia (PE) to perform a show worth R$1.1 million.
The millionaire presentation, scheduled for October 2nd is part of the program of the Patron Saint’s Festival, a traditional event in the city of just under 37 thousand inhabitants, on the banks of the São Francisco River, in the interior of Pernambuco.
The singer’s last show in São Paulo was held on Saturday (21) in São Paulo, in the city of Jaguariúna.
Asked about what the singer’s next steps will be from now on, the artist’s lawyer points out that his client will prove that he is innocent.
“I cannot anticipate situations involving the artist’s technical defense, but I can tell you that we are working with everything that may come our way and prove once and for all that Gustavo or his companies have no connection with the object of this operation that was launched in the state of Pernambuco,” says Bessa.
In addition to the interview, the lawyer sent a note to the press pointing out a possible contradiction in the decision of the judge who issued the request for the singer’s arrest, yesterday afternoon (23). “The decision of the judge of origin established a series of presumptions contrary to everything that has already been presented in the records, even contradicting the statement of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the case”, mentions the note from the defense team.
