Guuk incorporates Caja Rural de Navarra to its shareholders

Telephony operator Guuk has incorporated Caja Rural de Navarra into its shareholding. The financial institution enters the capital with 10%. More Mobile and Dominion, Guuk’s original partners headquartered in the Basque Country, retain 64% and 26% of the shareholding, respectively. With the incorporation of Caja Rural, Guuk “reinforces its roots and commitment to the Navarrese territory, as well as its vocation to be close to its customers”, have pointed out sources of the company, who hope to complete their shareholding shortly with a new partner.

Caja Rural de Navarra will also have a seat on the Board of Directors of Guuk, together with the president of the company Jon Ander de las Fuentes, the CEO Juanan Goñi and the three directors of Más Móvil José Eulalio Poza and José María Echarri and Germán López, and Roberto Tobillas de Dominion.

Following the signing of the partner agreement, Goñi has expressed satisfaction with having “a new travel companion, with which we share ways to do, and that will allow us to be closer and better connected with our customers in Navarra”.

Iñaki Maeztu, for her part, Commercial Director of Caja Rural de Navarra has pointed out that they are joined by Guuk “many corporate values”. “For Caja Rural de Navarra, it is very important that we are companies close to the customer, committed to our environment and the local business fabric and with the vocation to cultivate the relationship with the customer in the long term, based on trust in people”.

Guuk’s next steps in Navarrese territory will be the launch of 5G service tests in Pamplona, as well as the opening of an emblematic store in the center of the Navarrese capital, which will add to the current outlets in Navarra, specifically, that of the Iruña Shopping Center of Pamplona and that of the Puente de La Ribera de Tudela Shopping Center.
